Victoria wants to join forces with NSW and SA to press federal government for more action on climate change, in the wake of record temperatures in the 3 states in 2014. Victoria’s environment minister, Lisa Neville, said she was seeking “urgent” talks with the NSW and SA governments to forge a united front against Tony Abbott’s stance on climate change…seek greater clarity on how the federal ERF(Emissions Reduction Fund), which will provide grants to businesses, would work. Note – underfunded ERF now means few trees planted, more effort on eliminating weeds – howzat for emission reduction?
