We all know that privatised coal fired power and distribution is just minimising maintenance and maximising profits. The proverbial “Blind Freddie” can predict “totally unpredictable big breakdowns. Urgent investment in wind and solar is needed for security of supply when coal fired power starts to collapse and our politicians are held to Enron sized ransom.
