Germany blazed the trail for solar PV uptake and it appears the nation may be about to do the same for energy storage.

For solar power owners, who receive less than fair market value, for surplus  exported to mains grid, storing, instead of exporting that energy, will send clear signal to electricity companies that if they want high-value green power – they’re going to have to pay a reasonable price for it.
