Target not from 1990, not 2000, not 2005  but however much more they can consume in 2020! They damage the stratosphere, cause global dimming and don’t even pay excise to help with consequences.

At the 39th Assembly of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) which concluded on October 7, 2016, Member States adopted the CORSIA. The CORSIA is a global carbon off setting initiative that aims to stabilize net emissions from international aviation at 2020 levels; any additional emissions above 2020 levels will have to be off set.
