It’s a while ago now that one of the wind turbines at Wonthaggi was struck by lightning. Loss of one turbine is not a big deal, not compared with big coal fired generator going off line. Blades need to be replaced in complete matched sets, so remaining 2 blades are now to offer value to the community as addition to kiddies playground, per this example in Rotterdam.
