Mainstream media consistently peddles the delusions that we’ll be right when or annual rate of emissions is slightly less, a dangerous piece of disinformation. Emissions already in atmosphere will mostly be there for centuries. They’re like extra blankets you pile on a bed on a cold winter’s night. As you hop into bed, it’s cool for quite a while. Ultimately extra blankets keep too much heat in. Of course, it’s easy enough to flip a few off. Unfortunately the only way to do this for the planet is with CCS(carbon capture and storage), the big fuss that’s been made to prolong the agony with cola fired power.
