OECD says green tape is not damaging the economy

…green tape has encouraged innovation and investment that has allowed firms to do things better. The improvements triggered by stricter environmental rules have more than offset the costs…OECD international league table compares strictness of environmental policies across 24 advanced economies between 1990 and 2012.  Australia was placed lowest on that league table for seven of the 20 years prior to 2012 and second lowest for another seven of those years.
