100,000 electric Tuk-tuks for Phillipines

UntitledTitle says it all. Just imagine how much we could save by swapping so many second cars for something like this, when 50% of our journeys are less than 5km and 70% less than 7km? But will it succeed in Australia without a V8 version? Please add your request to Minister Macfarlane, now that he doesn’t need to protect Ford and GM, to develop standards for NEV(Neighbourhood Electric Vehicles) so that these things don’t need mega$ safety air-bag, ESP etc add-ons to comply with existing ADR’s, the full Mad Max specification.
