Fresh in from RenewEconomy, latest news from Tesla, premium USA manufacturer of long range EV’s, with 60kWh onboard, to be released in Australia shortly. Also world plans for when you’re mobile, starting with USA and China, for Supercharger stations, solar storage, at prominent locations, providing as much as 50% charge in as little as 20minutes. Added benefit, as virtual net metering arrives, is that batteries in Supercharger stations can store wind energy, the excess that needs to be dumped because the grid operators won’t take it. Daimler and Toyota are partners in Tesla. If only community energy ownership had taken place quickly enough in Australia!
