FIRB rejected them, too big, already owning 60% of world grain business. Recently heard Cargill folks were amused, simply organising Canadian company to buy AWB, then buying it from them. Of course, Joe Hockey will promise to protect us from such antics as he finalises sale of Graincorp. Enough of us will believe in need for foreign investment and world marketing to quietly ignore that Hockey has already approved international owners can transfer profits to tax havens, not paying tax here.
