Of course, we knew we were bad but not this bad! Hazelwood continues to operate at 1.5tonne CO2 per MWh electricity, compared with 1 tonne for black coal power. Of course it receives exemptions and pays $0 for all the coal it burns so it’s the most profitable asset on the planet for Gdf-SUEZ.
