Solar trial sheds light on power savings

In 2008, two 300-kilowatt solar parks in Bendigo and Ballarat were built as part of the Federal Government Solar City project. Results from the trial released today show that of the 3,000 participants that trialled power-saving and renewable energy products, there was an average 13 per cent reduction in daily power use. Looks like momentum is building for CORE(Community Owned Renewable Energy), especially with cost of PV now down less than $1/ watt. We need to help correct our State Government.
