How about this for an idea? The big corporations who have always owned these things, on “natural monopoly” basis, have been guaranteed big profits. In Germany, they’re now obliged to share ownership with communities, reducing cost and distributing profit. Of course, this also draws community attention to benefits of local power generation. Hallelujah. Let’s make it happen here!!
