Cancellation of this proposed 1000MW project is a big deal. Nature of plant is CCGT, the best version of “clean energy” that Minister Ferguson keeps ranting about. So far, we only have OCGT plants which are only economic to fire up when high demand causes our auction system to make prices very high.
