Imagine Martin Ferguson AM, MP, Federal Member for Batman, Minister for Resources, Energy and Tourism releasing a “long awaited energy policy paper” this close to Christmas! Election promise was to regulate emissions from new coal power stations. But now, because of carbon price, “the market” takes the place of regulations! Also, because we need as much as $240B investment in new power stations and distribution, States are being instructed to privatise. What a wonderful early Christmas present!
