Converting ancient, brown coal power stations to gas is a blind alley. Gas causes CO2 emissions, almost as bad as coal. Science is showing global warming worse than many worst expectations. Implication is that we need zero carbon power to reduce current concentration of CO2 in atmosphere and oceans.

New gas power stations are too risky and investment, likely to become stranded assets. Australia needs to be seen to be doing more than just tinkering, we need total commitment to zero carbon. Immediately.
