Traditional knowledge ‘vital to science’

GM develops few, high performing food crop  varieties, which happen to eliminate native varieties, aiming to make another Green Revolution, as in the 1970’s. Is performance always high or only when water and sunshine and fertiliser and other chemicals are all just right? Conversely, indigenous people make sure to always cultivate many varieties, plenty biodiversity, free insurance thanks to Mother Nature. How do you feel about what we need to adapt to Climate Change?
