Energy/Scarcity – Peak Oil “we can’t see it coming!?!”

Wasn’t it interesting with Christmas and New Year proclamations, by world leaders, so much agonising over astrology of Economics, totally disregarding  grave risks posed by Climate Change.

Some people in the community are reconciled(!) to Climate Change being a worry, not for them, but for their grand children. SECCCA is a web site supported by local councils, with 2 articles here, which update status about Peak Oil, abrupt shortage of supply of our main drug of dependency, oil, in 2014, on say so of no less than IEA(International Energy Agency).

Peak oil is bad news for both shareholders and electorate.  So look out for petrochem execs, politicians and especially economists to say “they couldn’t see it coming”. New technology can’t ramp up quickly enough to save us. The only safety plan is “Emergency Liquid Fuels Act 1986”, an interesting read.
